K Club Hairdressing opened its doors in 2016, on the bustling Bridge St. in Westport. The crew is led by the talented and inspiring Kate Murtagh.

Kate began her love-affair with hair over 15 years ago. She has spent most of her life in her beloved Westport, growing her loyal client base. However, at the young age of 19, Kate traded in Westport for a vibrant city-centre salon in Newcastle. For almost 2 years, Kate immersed herself in training, competition work and photoshoots. The time spent here gaining experience, and training proved invaluable to Kate and she has remained dedicated to furthering her training throughout her career.

On returning to Westport, Kate worked for many years, training and perfecting her craft. In 2016, she realised her dream of owning her own salon and K Club Hairdressing was born.

The name K Club Hairdressing is often commented on. Clients feel like they are part of our club when they visit and that exactly how we want them to feel. All our crew aim to create a laid-back and fun atmosphere, we want you to have an amazing experience when you visit us.

K Club Hairdressing offers free consultations to all new clients and the chance to meet our stylists, to help us understand the look you dream of. We love to create new bespoke hair colour, individual to your personal style.

We are obsessed with new styles and fashions and are passionate about upskilling and keeping our salon on trend. Colour is our thing … but healthy coloured hair is our passion.
